Will Jacobs & Marcos Coll Band

Will Jacobs at the age of 25 is one of the biggest names of the new generation of Chicago Blues. Since the age of 14 he is been a regular of the windy City scene, first jammin, and then getting jobs as sideman for well known artists as CJ Chenier, Carl Weathersby, Charlie Love or Billy Branch until this days where he is leading his own band and beeing featured in the famous blues clubs in the city as well as festivals. In 2016 he moves to Berlin where he met harmonica master and Hohner endorser Marcos Coll (Los Reyes del Ko, Buddy Miles, Mick Taylor) and start this project playing in several blues and jazz clubs and festivals all over Europe as well as recording the first duo album with the label Gaztelupeko Hotsak, with mainly original compositions featuring this days Chicago Blues sound.
At Bergmannstrassenfest 19 they will have special guest Emiliano Juarez, considered one of the best mexican blues guitar player and has partnered with Marcos Coll in latin blues band Los Mighty Calacas or Los Reyes del Ko.
